My 2006 macbook pro CPU consumes about 65W when...

My 2006 macbook pro CPU consumes about 65W when running at full speed and barely nothing when idle.

When watching a youtube video on the mac, it runs at 80% => 52W
When watching the same video on widows, it runs at 8% => 5,2W

Because of this issue, my CPU drains about 45W.

How many people are watching a youtube video, playing a flash game or watching an ad on a web page (1) right now ? Let’s say 10 million.

Let’s say 10% of these people are not using windows (2) These are 45MW which are lost because of this issue.

This the power of a small nuclear reactor!! Adobe, if you don’t care about mac users, think about the planet!
